Badia Camps (1929-2019) és un artista català nascut a la Colònia Pons (Puig-reig) l’any 1929 i que va viure a Barcelona on va començar la seva carrera com dibuixant de còmics i il·lustrador. Tot i que durant molts anys fa compatible aquest ofici amb el de pintor, a partir dels anys 80 es centra de ple en la pintura artística. Badia Camps practica una figuració contemporània, centrada principalment en el nu femení, aconseguint una poètica molt personal i característica.

Badia Camps (1929-2019) is a Catalan artist born in Colonia Pons (Puigreig) in 1929, who began his career as a cartoonist and illustrator. From the 80’s he was focussed on artistic painting. Badia Camps style is a contemporary figuration, focusing mainly on the female nude, getting a very personal and poetic feature.
