Badia Camps

Badia Camps és un artista català nascut a la Colònia Pons (Puigreig) l’any 1929 i que viu a Barcelona, que va començar la seva carrera com dibuixant de còmics i il·lustrador. A partir dels anys 80 abandona aquest camp per centrar-se de ple en la pintura artística. Badia Camps practica una figuració contemporània, centrada principalment en el nu femení,  aconseguint una poètica molt personal i característica.

Badia Camps is a Catalan artist born in Colonia Pons (Puigreig) in 1929 and living in Barcelona, who began his career as a cartoonist and illustrator. From the 80’s leaves the illustration to focus on artistic painting. Badia Camps style is a contemporary figuration, focusing mainly on the female nude, getting a very personal and poetic feature.

For twenty years his works were published almost worldwide. Their collaboration is often required for the most prestigious publishing houses in Europe and America.
